The course will be from Bird Island to red #4 and back to Bird Island. It will be a 13.25 NM race. Winds will be from the N -NE at 8-12 mph. So the first leg will be a downhill run and then we will need to beat up wind to get back to the finish line at Bird island.

Need at least one power boat for the race to mark the start line and start the race. Once race has started and all sailboats are safely on there way, the power boat will head to Red # 4 to mark the turn. All sailboats will round the power boat/mark to port then head back to finish line where the power boat will mark the finish line.

Any sail combination will be allowed

All Sailboats are welcome to race

PHRF ratings will be used.

Race coms on VHF 72 monitor VHF 16

All sailboats will start at the same time.

All sailboats must remain inside of marked channel

1100 Skippers meeting

1145 underway from slips

1225 minute start warning (will depend on when all boats check in with comity boat)

1230 Start (or pushed up/down, depends on 5 minute warning)

Race ends when last sailboat crosses the finish line

Return to club
