ALBEMARLE SOUND SAILING ASSOCIATION MEETING MINUTES

19 APRIL 05

 

 

Meeting convened at 7:00PM

 

  1. Brief discussion concerning boat rating precedence.  It was decided that rating precedence would be determined by the following:
    1. Chesapeake 1st
    2. NC rating 2nd
    3. Mid Atlantic 3rd
    4. If none of the above the closest area to NC rating would be used

  2. Arch recapped last month’s ASSA meeting minutes.

 

  1. Reviewed race forms and registration. These will be on the PRYC web page (PRYCNC.org) for the June 04, 2005 race.

 

4.        Reviewed and updated boat ratings for 2005.

 

  1. Determined class break between A & B.  Class A shall be PHRF rating of 199 and below. Class B shall be PHRF rating of 200 and above.

 

  1. Assigned sail number sequence for each club in the event that a boat does not have a sail number. Participant will retain the sail number assigned for the entire race season. Sail number sequence assigned to each club:

 

    1. CYC - 1000
    2. EYC - 2000
    3. OYC – 3000
    4. PRYC – 4000
